Ari is having to bear the brunt of all the website duties, so here I finally am.
Part of the reason we chose a destination wedding, besides the obvious excuse to vacation with our friends and family, is because we both know what goes into planning events. It’s a LOT of effort, worry, time, and anxiety that we both wanted to avoid. I’ve been a bridesmaid umpteen times (as well as planned many a work event) and Ari has planned a TON of events – the best gift we could give ourselves is the opportunity to relax a bit.
We’ve heard nothing but great things about the NOW Jade staff and coordinators, which is part of what drove us to pick this fabulous resort. All we really need to add is good company (yes, you)!
Because we are working with a wedding coordinator, I get to pick most of the wedding items off a list! And I love lists! Anything to keep me off of the fabulous ideas that Pinterest has to offer is good.
The rest boils down to a simple list: dress, Ari’s outfit, ceremony schedule, reception schedule, and fun activities. Most of these will start to be decided about 90 days before the wedding, which is just fine with us!
If you have any suggestions or helpful tips on planning a destination wedding at a resort – I’m all ears!
Can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and family in a beautiful location come February. We are extremely lucky to have such funny, kind, and caring people in our lives. Most of you are even smart! ;-).
